Ehisen's MMO Titanium Flexible Anode is indispensable in Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) systems across numerous industries. ICCP works by connecting an external DC power source to the cable which offers the current to titanium anode. Current flows from the anode, through the electrolyte (soil/water), to the cathode, effectively suppressing the corrosion reaction on the cathode surface.
Anode and Cable Connection
The titanium anode wire will be connected to the cable at intervals of 3meters at the factory. These connection points shoud ensure low resistance connections and mechanical reliability, and have multi-level insulation and waterproof systems.
Applications
Tank Farm & Storage Tank Protection: Installed beneath or around above-ground and underground storage tank bottoms (e.g., for oil, chemicals, water) to prevent corrosion, often in concentric patterns for uniform current distribution.
